Students & Staff Celebrate Together At The Leavers Mass 2008
The College Leavers Mass is always a very special occasion, in which we say farewell to our Year 13 students and ask them to reflect on their time at Newman. It is an important part of moving on to the next phase of their lives.
This year’s event was no exception, as hundreds of students and staff joined together to celebrate every aspect of College life and the achievements and successes of everyone.
As part of the Mass, there were a number of performances from dance students, College musicians and the choir, as well as the opportunity for everyone to join in with singing. Members of Lisieux Hall were also at the Mass and along with our students, performed sign language and gesture to the songs.
After the service everyone was invited back to College to enjoy a wonderful buffet and spend time together.
